You’re about to head home for the Christmas holidays — and if you don’t own a vehicle, or your car doesn’t have a tow ball, then getting your stuff to a lock up is not so easy. That’s where Storage2U’s student storage in Canterbury comes in handy.
We bring the Storage 2u mobile/portable storage unit right to your flat, and you can pack it at your leisure (as you may still be in exams) — OR we can help you pack the unit.
If we pack the unit with you, the cost is very little $150 – $250 (incl GST)
It’s ok to share with a friend to keep the cost down, even if they aren’t in the same flat we make it work.
When you return back to Canterbury in February, we deliver the unit to your new flat or to wherever you need.
We understand price is important to all students. We offer a standard 10% student discount off our regular storage rates when paid in advance for the 2-3 months over the holidays, saving you money on storage and no saving you having to pay your flat rental fees.
You can pay by credit card or internet banking from the invoice. Many students ask us to forward the invoice to their parents, who kindly help them out with payment.
You’ll likely need a 10 pack (10 cubic metre). This is our mid-sized unit.
We have a limited number of these units, so please enquire early.
How It Works
Step 1
We deliver Storage2u portable / mobile storage unit/s and packing supplies to your home or place of business. We park the unit where you want on your property for your easy loading at your convenience.
Step 2
When you are ready, we will pick up the loaded Storage2u mobile unit and take it to our 24/7 security monitored, temperature controlled, indoor storage depot for as long as you want.
Step 3
We will hold on to the Storage unit for you — when you want it back, give us a call and we will deliver your mobile storage unit back to you for unpacking — or ask if you would like our team to help you.

The units are made of wood, locked and stored in a central warehouse which no one enters except Paul, our operations manager. So there is no chance of a dodgy neighbour with their P lab in the unit next to yours. The warehouse is alarmed and our gate is locked and monitored.
Absolutely yes. Our delivery times are arranged to suit you. We do however try to avoid weekend deliveries, because we have family commitments in the weekends.
You can order today and expect delivery tomorrow, or whenever you would like the unit.
No, you don’t. As long as we have clear instructions, you don’t have to be home at all.
